2006년 서울에서 태어난 이하느리는 예원학교를 졸업하고 현재 한국예술종합학교에서 작곡을 전공하고 있다. 그의 주요 관심사는 음악을 통해 특정한 의미나 개념을 표현하기보다, 악기 고유의 가능성과 제한된 제스처를 활용하여 악기 간의 음향적 관계를 탐구하는 데 있다.
그의 작품은 Witten Tage für neue Kammermusik(독일), Verbier Festival(스위스), Daegu International Contemporary Music Festival(한국), Initiative Neue Musik OWL(독일) 등에서 발표되었으며, Ensemble Nomad(일본), IEMA Ensemble(독일), Ensemble TIMF(한국), Track 3(독일), Ensemble Eins(한국), 서울시립교향악단(한국) 등과 협업하였다.
2025년에는 미디어 아티스트이자 작곡가 신예훈, 사운드 아티스트이자 작곡가 이한, 무대미술가 전하경과 함께 6[;yL? collective를 결성하였으며, 다양한 전시와 퍼포먼스에 참여하는 등 활동 영역을 넓혀가고 있다.
Hanurij Lee, born in Seoul in 2006, graduated from Yewon School and is currently studying composition at the Korea National University of Arts. His primary interest lies not in expressing specific meanings or concepts through music, but in exploring the sonic relationships between instruments by working with their inherent possibilities and limited gestures.
His works have been presented at Witten Tage für neue Kammermusik (Germany), Verbier Festival (Switzerland), Daegu International Contemporary Music Festival (Korea), and Initiative Neue Musik OWL (Germany), and he has collaborated with Ensemble Nomad (Japan), IEMA Ensemble (Germany), Ensemble TIMF (Korea), Track 3 (Germany), Ensemble Eins (Korea), and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra (Korea).
In 2025, he co-founded 6[;yL? collective with media artist and composer Yehun Shin, sound artist and composer Han Lee, and stage designer Hakyung Jeon. Through this collective, he has expanded the scope of his activities by participating in various exhibitions and performances.
